On this day, the shit devs revealed the next mechanic of the project. This time, the next update that is revealed affects holders of the OG poop and the means to receive the Pixel Poop drop that has been teased since the last phase.
This update was expected as it was already tweeted a few days back that there will be something coming for the OG poop holders.
The first thing that happened was that all OG poops were airdropped ShitPlungers. A total of 4,416 ShitPlungers were airdropped, with each owner getting 2 of them per OG poop.
This followed with a more detailed announcement below for your easy reading. Point to note is that at the end of the period when ShitPlungers can be purchased from the shitty shop, there will be a grand total supply of 8,888 ShitPlungers.
Based on information off Etherscan, there are slightly more than 2,200 OG poops left in circulation which will mean that there could be a theoretical maximum supply of around 8,888 Pixel poops. (ShitPlunger max)
Including some notable points made by shit devs :
1️⃣ OG poop will continue to exist after using ShitPlungers on them. They will not be burnt.
2️⃣ Rarities / traits of Pixel poop will be randomized when ShitPlungers are used.
3️⃣ There will be something for Pixel poop too in future (aka shit devs will take care of you)
4️⃣ ShitPlungers will disappear upon use.
On the following day, as promised the Shit Shop was launched and the sale of ShitPlungers began. At about the same time, shit devs teased the minting of Pixel Poops.
The Shit Shop closed all sales of ShitPlungers later in the day and the new total of circulating ShitPlungers are now 8,591. This would mean that there could only be 8,591 of Pixel Poops minted. However, shit devs have not clarified what will happen with the unsold ShitPlungers.
An entertaining tweet from the shit devs also earned them more brownie points when they refunded folks who paid over the 500 Mil $SHIT price for ShitPlungers during the sale!
Before the Pixel Poop mint event, the community received yet another positive news in the form of free mints of their Pixel Poop.
And as promised, shit devs burned 75% of the proceeds of the ShitPlunger sale. This reduces the supply of $SHIT. (See Statistics link for updated circulating supply)
And with this phase almost concluding, users are now able to mint their Pixel Poop.
